Marsh Landing was developed very gradually, over a period of 30 years, by the visionary Fletcher family that made Marsh Landing their life’s work. Throughout the slow pace of development, great care was taken to remove as few trees as possible; and as a result large numbers of towering oaks, pines and palm trees that are many decades old enhance the community. This pace has allowed the community of over 1,000 single family homes to evolve into a very special place of character and great natural beauty.
Marsh Landing Country Club and the Marsh Landing community are separate entities. Joining the Country Club is optional for Marsh Landing residents. The Club offers full dining and meeting facilities along with golf and tennis, including pro shops. The golf course is one of the most highly regarded in the area, and the tennis facility features ten Har-Tru courts. There is a workout facility and a swimming pool. In addition to the Club and its amenities, the community has two neighborhood parks with playgrounds and ball fields, sidewalks that double as bike paths and access to the Intracoastal Waterway from a number of estuaries. Marsh Landing is a nature lover’s paradise. Many residents enjoy walking, jogging and bicycling on the quiet streets and sidewalks.
Within the gates of the Marsh Landing Country Club community, members are granted the opportunity to relish an incomparable exclusive social and recreational lifestyle. Since opening in 1986, the facilities have offered members the premier atmosphere and service that defines the Marsh Landing lifestyle. The Marsh Landing Country Club is located moments from the pristine beaches of Florida’s First Coast.
The main clubhouse features a ballroom utilized for special events and a dining room with panoramic marsh views of the 9th hole and beautiful surrounding marshlands. Located adjacent to the main clubhouse is the fitness center and tennis pro shop. The fitness center houses the aerobics room, strength-training and cardio equipment, massage room, and men and women’s locker rooms. The tennis pro shop is operated by a knowledgeable staff who assists members with all of their tennis equipment and apparel needs.
Designed by Ed Seay of Arnold Palmer Course Design, Marsh Landing Country Club’s private 18-hole course is the centerpiece of the community and a unique addition to the fine courses in the First Coast region. The par-72 golf course occupies 6,825 yards throughout pockets of Intracoastal marshes, which include a blend of soaring pines, floral landscape, and Northeast Florida wildlife.
